This one was left off the original Crafty Christmas post, because the recipient hadn’t received it. I made this quilt for my dear friend Amanda, who has been so wonderful to me and to my family. She and her husband traveled with us and stayed in our room at Disney World and they even still talk to us! That’s friendship. Ever since I have been making quilts, Amanda has been my number one fan. More than once she offered to buy a quilt I made for myself. But I always turned her down, I knew I would make one that was just for her. She always says her favorite color is all of them, so here is the quilt I made. I love all the vibrant colors and fun patterns. There are cute owls, little flowers, rainbow argyle and lots of dots. The back is colorful too, and the quilting is simple squares and some fun stars embroidered throughout in the “big” squares. I think it turned out great and Amanda loves it.
