You must have your hands full
Jeff: So earlier today, Jen and I, were asked if we had our hands full and if we were getting our sleep. Most parents of single kids think that we are overwhelmed and what a nightmare it must be for us. But truly, this is all we know: Dealing with two kids at once is normal, dividing attention and encouraging sharing is normal. As I’ve said before I do the 10PM – 4AM shift of taking care of the boys while Jen sleeps. So as you see in the picture above, this is QUITE NORMAL, that I will be feeding one child with the bottle propped against my cheek, and gently rocking the other child to soothe him. I wouldn’t have it any other way, and neither will the boys or Jen.
